IPU is currently a research preview. The operating legal entity, formal index administrator, oversight committee and approved launch base date have not yet been published for this research release.
No claim of regulatory authorization, independent audit, benchmark certification or institutional adoption is made.
02 / Implemented controls
The application identifies its methodology version, source series, snapshot retrieval time and dataset hash. Calculation logic uses decimal arithmetic and is covered by automated boundary tests.
Data updates reject changed historical observations rather than silently replacing them. A build and tests precede publication in the included deployment workflow. These software controls are not an independent assurance opinion.
03 / Proposed change process
Before formal launch, a named administrator should approve the methodology and publish a change policy defining notice periods, materiality, consultation, emergency decisions and implementation dates.
A new base date or formula must receive a new version identifier. Existing contractual references require an explicit transition or their agreed fallback. These are proposed operating policies, not evidence that an oversight body currently exists.
04 / Before settlement use
Formal use requires the final methodology document, administrator identity, approved base date, correction and complaints channels, legal terms, retained fixing archives and an operational publication standard.
